Hailing from the 2014 vintage. Full of wicked and wonderful berries, some of the stylish stuff like red current and backed by the right blend of cardamom and vanilla. This is on day two mind you and tasted from roughly 57-65 degrees. Super ripe and dusty on the tannins (oh Alexander Valley you stop it!) Single vineyard fruit, tastes like baby Silver Oak before it was condemned by the “Oak” part. Go buy a case for when your Napa-head relatives force you to host the next family gathering and you don’t have to worry about Grandma pouring half the bottle into her wine “mug” because it’s sub 20 bucks a bottle.
